IDF To Punish Soldier For Hitting Jesus Statue When He Should Have Been Committing War Crimes

“THIS IS NOT who we are,” the IDF said in a statement condemning one of its soldiers who was pictured taking a sledgehammer to a statue of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon.

“The soldier should have been focusing on his core job of threatening sexual violence against Palestinian women in the West Bank, to intimidate them into leaving their homes or at the very least he should have been helping to target ambulance workers in Lebanon,” an IDF spokesperson helpfully informed.

The IDF confirmed a full scale investigation into why the soldier was wasting his time with trivial things like this which barely count as a war crime, instead of committing truly heinous war crimes, has been launched.

“We apologise utterly for the actions of this soldier, it is such a waste of our resources to be apologising for this fool, when we should be issuing statements defending him for murdering innocent civilians,” added the spokesperson for the prolific war crimes committers.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu said he was ‘stunned and saddened’ by the image.

“When Israelis think of their IDF soldiers in an active war zone, the last thing they think they’d see is a soldier hammering away at a statue. Snipering children? Raping illegal detained Palestinians? Killing aid workers? Sure, but hammering a statue, it’s just plain inefficient when we could just be bombing the whole block instead, my apologies,” confirmed PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
