Man Wakes Up To Find Ryan Tubridy Giving Him Media Interview In His Bedroom
PHONING THE GARDAÍ, a deeply confused and a tad frightened local Waterford man Kevin Freeley recalled being woken up at 7am by YouTuber Ryan Tubridy, as the Dublin man attempted to conduct a publicity-garnering media interview with Freeley, an electrician.
“I open my eyes and there he was, sitting in a chair beside my bed with a podcast mic in front of him, apparently deep in conversation with me, telling me a version of his RTÉ exit that didn’t match my memory of the scandal,” confirmed Freeley.
“I was rubbing my eyes thinking it was a dream but he was all ‘yeah it’s great, never been busier. I suppose in terms of creative freedom, there is liberation there, I’m free to do anything’, eventually I just went about my business, made breakfast, watched TV on the couch and he carried on giving an interview to the bedroom wall for about 50 minutes until the guards arrived,” confirmed Freeley, who added that the podcast mic didn’t appear to be plugged in anywhere either.
Garda on the scene Sean Furlong spoke to WWN about the incident.
“We believe the suspect, harmless and all that he is, had run out of Irish media outlets to speak to and was intending to go door to door, conducting softball interviews,” confirmed Furlong.
Meanwhile, the Irish public has called for an inquiry to look into the Irish media and how they came to the conclusion that the public was in need of 30 new articles on Ryan Tubridy every day.
