Sad Boys With Feelings Gather To Protest Paul Mescal Oscars Snub

AN OUTRAGEOUS Oscar snub has prompted thousands of sad boys with all of the feelings to march on the headquarters of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences which stage the Hollywood awards.

Following Paul Mescal’s omission from yesterday’s nominations, sad boys from everywhere gathered to voice their displeasure.

“I haven’t stopped crying since … well since I was born, but also because Paul gave an amazing performance and was robbed. Just take one of Sinners’ nominations for crying out loud (literally), they wouldn’t even notice,” cried one sad boy with an on trend tidy ear-ring.

Mumbling at a decibel no human can hear, before stuttering and spluttering into a wretched outpouring of agony that splits the soul in two, the large crowd of doe-eyed men continued to make their overabundance of feelings known, prompting an Oscars official to address them.

“We’re all sad, we all have feelings, we all have that bit of dribble of saliva that splutters and hangs ungainly from our mouths as we try to articulate a lifetime of woe but we must accept the decision of the academy voters,” shared the spokesperson, a fellow sad boy.

Despite making an effort to reason with the sad boys, the group insisted they will be ‘going nowhere’ and are prepared to unleash an emergency playlist filled with 60 hours of ’emotionally devastating moody lo-fi bedroom pop’.
