AWARE THAT their big marque signing from Ireland could find it hard to adjust to the city of Rome with it’s nice weather, abundance of culture and history, good food and attractive people, AS Roma are making effort to help Evan Ferguson to bed in.

“We’ve got much better at player welfare and integration in a the recent years,” explained AS Roma’s player liaison officer Giorgio De Marco, receiving a delivery of what he believed to be the long closed Bettystown based Fantasia arcade.

However, De Marco made the error of securing the transportation of Funtasia water park in Drogheda, not the now defunct Funtasia arcade in Ferguson’s native Bettystown.

“For Evan maybe he missa the home, but we have got this priceless piece of Meath culture transported’d to Rome for him, maybe he like to do water slide after training to relax” added a beaming De Marco.

De Marco also stated that efforts have been made to fill some of the streets surrounding Ferguson’s apartment and his route to Roma’s training ground with ugly, fashion agnostic people from the Royal county.

“It can be a big culture shock, no? We want Evan to feel it’s nos’so different from Ireland,” explained De Marco.

Despite these well intentioned and kind efforts, De Marco turned violent and attempted to strangle this journalist when we suggested substituting Ferguson’s pasta diet with the addition of some chicken fillet rolls.
