Media Doesn’t Want To Bum Public Out Today, Going To Skip Reporting On IDF’s Murder Of Innocent People Queuing For Food

A DECISION arrived at not through any overarching editorial line which aims to mask much of the incessant, daily slaughter Palestinian people are being subjected to, a huge portion of the media has decided not to subject their viewers and readers to news out of a concern for their well-being, deeming the killing ‘quite the mood killer’.

“We have verified footage of IDF soldiers shooting at an unarmed crowd of starving people there to collect food, but hey that’ll probably ruin your dinner so we’re not sure there’s a need to report it like it’s something an insane world is just accepting as quite a banal thing now,” confirmed editors WWN spoke with.

“We have first hand accounts from IDF soldiers themselves talking about innocent civilians being shot and left in place to be eaten by wild dogs. Yup, you read that right, but is that really the purpose of the news? To have you read something so disturbing that it becomes a collective permanent stain on humanity and hollows out your soul? No, it’s a bit of a bummer so that’s why we’re giving our readers a story about a new Smurfs movie,” confirmed another editor.

Considered ‘a bit OTT’, leading bulletins each day with the ethnic cleansing, systematic starving and execution of Palestinians by Benjamin Netanyahu’s government could create the false impression that it is somehow wrong and something should be done to stop it.

“Seeing things like that every day can have really damaging effects such as demanding your government doesn’t participate, engage with or militarily support a genocidal regime, why risk reporting on every single war crime when people are much happier seeing news bulletins about a squirrel that learned to swim. And anyway, isn’t that what social media is for these days? The news isn’t really doing that sort of thing anymore,” informed another editor.
