CHI Urged To Skip Costly Investigations Into Rogue Surgeons, Get To Bit Where Nobody Faces Any Consequences
FOLLOWING the leak of an internal CHI investigation into hip procedures carried out on children at two Dublin hospitals, many were stunned to learn 500 children underwent unnecessary procedures and one surgeon abused waiting listing reduction measures to refer patients to his own private practice.
However, due to previous experiences of how next-to-no-one ever receives consequences for gross negligence or sleveenism, the Irish public have asked the CHI, HSE and Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill to save the taxpayer a lot of money.
“Internal review, external review, review of reviews, scoping inquiry, recommendations, long delayed public inquiry. Let’s not bother with it, eh? Let’s just skip to the part where nobody is held account and save a few euro, yeah?” urged the public who know how these things usually pan out.
Clear-eyed in their appreciation for the fact there is no political will for true accountability and delivering of a well-run public health service, the public has urged every to forego the usual pantomime of pretend repercussions.
“C’mon, let’s cut the bullshit it’s not like you’re going to hold anyone to account, let’s just skip the posturing and hand-wringing,” urged the public, who are aware tomorrow will bring another inexcusable scandal no one will pay a price for.
Elsewhere, children who may require corrective surgeries after receiving unnecessary procedures have been warned that they may reach adulthood before they get to the top of the waiting for surgery at the national children’s hospital, which won’t have opened in time, and whose doors are too small to fit specialist lab equipment in anyway.
