Biden Issues Last Minute Pardon For Everyone Involved In ‘Joker: Folie À Deux’

FORMER US president as-of-yesterday Joe Biden has come under the spotlight for a number of high profile last-minute pardons including one bestowed upon Anthony Fauci, Liz Cheney and General Mark Milley.

However, no pardon has proved as controversial as that given to the production team behind 2024 film sequel ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, who are now protected from prosecutions relating to the crime of their movie.

“Wow, so I guess crime is legal now, huh,” one angry man on the streets of Washington DC yesterday said, reacting to the gut wrenching news that Joaquin Phoenix, Todd Phillips and Lady Gaga would never see the inside of a cell.

While some argued that the pardon for the set designers and costume team were justified, others felt aggrieved by pardons they felt were making a mockery of the US justice system.

“I was tricked into seeing a musical, that’s gay, and the people responsible shouldn’t be out walking the streets, unforgivable,” offered another person left dejected by the news.

“And what’s worse is my girlfriend enjoyed it,” they added.

Elsewhere, there was disappointed and dejection in the Will.i.am household as the singer and producer did not receive a pardon for his 2023 collaboration with Britney Spears on their ‘Mind Your Business’ song.
