Is Eoghan Murphy A Sleeper Agent For Sinn Féin?

WITH EOGHAN MURPHY baldly stating that the government made no effort to prioritise the housing crisis during his time as Housing Minister, rumours are now swirling that Murphy was in fact a Sinn Féin sleeper agent.

“It’s like The Departed only the inside man sits on his arse for a few years as Housing Minister and then in the run up to an election essentially says ‘Fine Gael didn’t want to solve the housing crisis’ it’s genius,” remarked one expert in espionage.

“I can’t see any other explanation than being a brainwashed Sinn Féin sleeper agent who was activated by a secret code probably, ‘up the RA’ whispered into his ear. The alternative seems less plausible; that a government ignored solutions to homelessness and housing supply as homeless figures, rents and prices soared? And still to this day state the opposite is true. Now that’s far-fetched,” added another person with knowledge of spy craft.

Internally Fine Gael have said they should have spotted the signs with Murphy adopting a Gerry Adams beard phase being the most obvious.

In its only official statement on Murphy’s comments Fine Gael said: “Ever heard of launching a tell-all book when there isn’t an election on the fucking horizon?”
