A DAY of lawlessness which saw 15 people arrested, one security guard in hospital and the destruction of private property in Coolock has led one man to be thankful for the fact there’s no UN, WEF, and WHO imported violent crime-committing migrants in the area.

“Imagine, chaos on the streets. People not feeling safe in the area they live in ‘cus there’s groups of men stalking the streets, looking for trouble, it’d be absolutely awful,” confirmed one young man as he jumped up and down on the windscreen of a Garda car.

“At the end of the day, you just want your area to stay the same, and have woman and children feel safe,” said the man from another part of the city, as he hurled a rock at gardaí and shouted abuse at a woman as she got off the bus which had to be rerouted away from her home.

The disorder and violence broke out as an encampment was cleared from outside the entrance to a site which is to house asylum seekers, including women and children.

“We don’t want unvetted males grooming our children,” said the hooded male hiding his identity as he led a group of young boys in a chant of ‘get them out’.

Elsewhere, in a bid to solve a number of pressing issues in her department, the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee has confirmed a purchase order for 14 tonnes of fresh sand to bury her head in.
