Irish Shoppers Try Ordering ‘Housing’ On New Amazon Dot Ie Domain
HEARING endless mention of how useful and convenient Amazon’s dot ie Irish domain will make shopping for consumers here, the Irish public wasted no time in investigating the union busting behemoth’s famed ‘next day delivery’ guarantee.
“Jaysus it has everything the local shops that’ll be forced to close in the next 12 months have but with the added bonus of getting it delivered to my door,” explained one excited profit generator for Jeff Bezos.
However, while Irish shoppers now have access to cheaper faster shopping on millions of items a search for any housing related products sees zero results.
“But that’s the one thing I really wanted,” said one frustrated 25-year-old who is one of 69% of 25-year-olds still living at home.
“Honestly I don’t mind if it involved slave labour or some kids in China, or the lads in the delivery centre got fired for taking a toilet break I’ll buy it,” added another housing starved consumer, who got their daily cry out of the way a little earlier than normal after learning the Irish government’s 2025 targets are already looking impossible to meet.
Despite the frustrating lack of fully-built affordable housing on the site, Irish people were comforted by some of Amazon’s quintessentially Irish features.
“Ah, that’s nice, loads of items I see on their Irish domain are a lot more expensive than on their UK and German domains,” sighed one customer, on their way to buying a fourth air fryer.
