NATIONWIDE

The Government has reminded the public to go outdoors this weekend as some horrible normal weather is on its way very soon. The beach, the park, a hike, the beer garden, whatever it is all local authorities are urging people to make the most of it.

DUBLIN

12th International ‘Nee-naw’ Championships arrive at the RDS this weekend. Can you imitate the sound of a police, fire truck or ambulance siren? Well then pay the €40 entry fee to be in with a chance of being crowned the champion and walking away with €100,000.

WESTMEATH

An open call for participants in a mass brawl has been made by local hardmen ahead of fisty cuffs in Mullingar this weekend. If you’re a fan of picnics and knuckle sandwiches, head on down to Mullingar. Entry is €5 but the first punch is free.

WATERFORD

Paddy Browne’s pub in Waterford brings you the best in local entertainment. It’s €10 at the door, or €8 when you book online and this Saturday’s entertainment is Cirque Du Soleil, who bring their 200 plus performers to the pub’s stage next to the disabled toilets.

DUBLIN

The Government is seeking assistance in burning a number of documents which might come back to haunt them. Open fires will be started outside Leinster House and various department buildings throughout the city. If you enjoy fires, this might be the event for you. Entry is free.
