HEADLINING SLANE next year Fontaines DC are set to play the iconic venue, becoming the first Irish act to headline since U2 in 2001.

A) Shouldn't be allowed to make any more music, we've got enough.
B) It better not interfere with the filming of The Traitors, so help me God!!!
C) Speaking as someone incapable of joy; never heard of them, hate their fans, they're just a bad Oasis who were out sick the day they taught choruses.
D) I don't see what the big deal is, I have 47 songs I like and haven't added a new one to that one playlist since Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm. Can hardly be better than that?
E) Yeah, can't fucking wait. It's gonna be unbelievable, and by unbelievable I mean I have to continue pretending to like them so my friends don't eat the head off me.
F) What I don't understand is why music promoters don't just organise concerts for my narrow and myopic tastes, and instead consider modern gig goers' tastes and what's popular. Mental stuff!
