Weirdo Spent Entire Weekend Of Altogether Now In Podcast Tent
RECOVERING festival goers are sharing disturbing tales of one Altogether Now patron who spent his entire existence of the festival ensconced in the corner of a tent showcasing various podcasts.
“He wasn’t even in a K-hole of anything, he was there voluntarily like,” explained a recovering festival attender, clearly disturbed by what she saw.
“Yeah I saw him too, very weird vibe, I went into the podcasty tent yoke just for somewhere to take a slash and he was there and then when I went back to do a coke shit there in the evening he was still there, the freak paid €280 quid for all that,” offered another Altogether Now diehard, who unlike the fully cogent podcast fan can only recall the weekend as a collection of bright lights and oontz oontzes.
“He’s our mate like, but I’m not giving his name, I don’t want an online pile on even if he deserves it. We begged him to come see Kneecap but he said ‘nothing could compete with the high of that thoroughly incisive chat about politics I just sat through’, he’d give Panadol a headache,” offered an anonymous festival attender.
Following a series of images and videos being circulated online, Waterford man Finn Markeley has been identified as the avid podcast enjoyer, and Markeley had little regret when approached by WWN about his oddball behaviour.
“Ah man it was class, it’s one thing for it to be like in my ears but to see all the big guns live, chatting inanely, clearly filling time on an episode not worthy of an official release on podcast feeds, it was unreal,” Markeley explained, with dead-eyed enthusiasm as he bleated on about several podcasts which sounded as interesting as having your tongue pierced by a tomahawk missile.
