Local By-Election Candidate Has Unique Amnesia Condition Where He Forgets To Mention He’s Fine Gael
A LOCAL by-election candidate in Dublin Central has been diagnosed with what some experts believe to be the rarest form of amnesia ever seen, WWN can report.
Ray McAdam, current Dublin Lord Mayor and a candidate running for Fine Gael, has a devastatingly debilitating form of amnesia that has seen him omit the words ‘Fine Gael’ along with phrases like ‘I’m the Fine Gael candidate’ from his leaflets, social media posts and videos.
“It’s awful to see, I had to remind him at the door that he’s a member of the party presiding over 17,500 homeless figures, he went white as I sheet from the shock of it,” confirmed one Stoneybatter resident.
“What’s really tragic is he’s been a member of the party for 20 years, so to leave that off promotional material due to the amnesia, what else has he forgotten? You have to feel for him” said a North Strand resident.
Such was the concern on the ground, many voters volunteered to help McAdam re-learn lost memories such as Fine Gael’s time in government, no matter how long it took. Some residents suggested that Simon Harris and other senior Fine Gael figures should go door to door on the canvas with McAdam to ensure he remembers his party affiliation.
“He has retained all knowledge of being a councillor, just not what party he was a member of during all that time, it’s fascinating. A few of my students are doing their PHD on him right now,” one UCD lecturer in Neuroscience shared with WWN.
Elsewhere, another candidate in the area, Lanzarote resident and career criminal Gerard Hutch has spoken of his desire to intern immigrants in a ‘camp’.
