AN IN NO WAY jealous or disgruntled Foo Fighters fan who was unable to get their hands on a ticket for the band’s coveted gig in The Academy has confirmed he will be taking his frustrations out on so-called bandwagon fans who barely know the first thing about the Dave Grohl fronted band.

“I’ve seen them like 40 times, it’s just not fair some 20-yea- old who only knows Best of You can turn up in a brand new FF t-shirt whereas I’m a true original fan, see smell my raggedy t-shirt, never washed, I’m hardcore,” confirmed Cian Fossey, wafting his way towards ticket holders in the queue.

“I just feel like if you don’t personally know every single lyric from every release including EPs, side projects and guest appearances then you shouldn’t get to go to the gig, ahead of me, someone who slept through the alarm they set themselves so they could buy tickets,” added a furious Fossey.

Seeing the band playing an intimate venue is a rarity, and something Fossey will not get to enjoy so like any normal person he feels he needs to ridicule and interrogate any ticket holder.

“Oh you try-hard bastard with your long hair! Name the two new songs that were included on the Greatest Hits album you phoney prick,” Fossey shouted out to Dave Grohl as he skipped the queue and made his way into The Academy.

Meanwhile, close friends of Fossey’s have been warned they risk causing the 49-year-old to have an aneurysm later this evening if they follow through on plans to jokingly text and inform him ‘got a ticket to the Foos, fairly shite not sure why you always go on about them, they didn’t play Teen Spirit, left after 10 minutes’.
