NEW LIVERPOOL SIGNING Alexander Isak has gone on strike in a bid to force a January transfer window move to Real Madrid, after rumours began swirling that the Spanish giants were admirers of the Swedish striker.

Posting in an emotionally charged Instagram story this morning, Isak said ‘First and foremost I want to thank Liverpool for signing me and my teammates for welcoming me. While I had hoped to enjoy my first day of training at Liverpool, I can no longer stay silent, promises were made. Real Madrid have shown interest in me and I think it is in the best interests of everyone that I be allowed to move’.

Several Liverpool fans fainted from shock after learning a professional footballer could display such a lack of loyalty and appreciation.

“There’s a special place in football hell for footballers who use these sorts of tactics I loudly cheer when it can be advantageous to my club,” confirmed one Liverpool fan.

Our sources suggest Isak is not expected to tog out for the Merseyside team despite efforts by the hierarchy within the club to convince him otherwise, for Isak Real Madrid was always the project he wanted.

“This is why I hate football; now that the transfer window is closed I’ve got no choice but to watch boring games, involving all these footballers. I’m counting down the days until the January window opens back up and I get invested again,” confirmed one displeased football supporter.
