Emergency Hair Of The Dog Supplies Airdropped Into Louth Following First Leinster Title In 68 Years
BREWERIES HAVE been working around the clock this morning to air drop vast quantities of much needed hair of the dog across the Louth area, following the wee county’s first Leinster football title in 68 years.
A dozen or so helicopters, working around the clock, have staged ambitious but precise releases of beer to help the county level out as it wakes up to the mother and father of hangovers after a historic victory over Meath.
“Get to your driveways in the next two minutes, the next critical hair of the dog drop is imminent,” said one emergency hangover relief officer, going road by road with a megaphone urging people to avail of the airborne cure raining down from the skies.
“Putting out a wildfire is easy, but easing the hangover of 140,000 people? This will be my toughest ever task,” said one pilot, a veteran of Californian wildfires.
The relief effort hasn’t all been plain sailing as some residents in Blackrock refused to step out of their homes until they were promised a helicopter dispensing a 2010 Chateau Margaux.
