“I Said What I Said Angela”: Liverpool Fan Ranks Mo Salah Signing New Contract Above Wedding Day

LOCAL MAN Micheal Joyce has insisted he has ‘no regrets’ in describing the news Mo Salah has signed a new Liverpool contract as the best day in his life.

“I’ll take the punishment, a month or year on the couch I don’t care, she needs to understand there’s three of us in this marriage,” explained Joyce, clutching a picture of the Egyptian King to his chest as tears of joy poured from his eyes.

Joyce had initially tried to explain the ‘hierarchy of happiness’ to his wife Angela, stating that while his heart had soared when he saw his wife walk up the aisle on their wedding day, there are no words to describe the joy of knowing Salah will get to wear an Adidas Liverpool jersey next season.

“What’s more annoying is she’s get annoyed and pretends not to ‘get it’. She totally knows that marriage/Salah is not a fair comparison, there’s no competition,” continued Joyce, refusing to back down on the joyous delirium he feels.

Joyce was keen to stress that Angela would be perfectly entitled to her anger once she scores 243 goals and counting for his favourite football team.

Elsewhere, speaking on what was a long drawn out negotiation process, Mo Salah says it was never about the money.
