• TV licences have been abolished by 90% of the world - we're not living in the 50s anymore.
• We're already being rode by energy companies, banks, the government, just take it out of our huge tax surplus.
• RTÉ makes money from advertising and the licence - it's either one or the other, you greedy pricks.
• Probably due to the fact they're incapable of managing the money they're getting, like every other state-run entity in Ireland.
