IN the hope of bringing awareness to the crime and showing solidarity with Saudi Arabian journalist and author Jamal Khashoggi, X-Factor producers have confirmed they will feature all of the songs listened to by his assassins as they tortured him to death in tonight’s live show performances.
Jamal Khashoggi was allegedly dismembered by a hit squad while still alive in a Turkish based Saudi embassy earlier this month, while his assassins calmly listened to music as they hacked off his limbs one by one, before then decapitating him.
“Hits like ‘Little Green Bags’, ‘Stuck In The Middle With You’ and ‘What A Wonderful World’ will all feature in tonight’s live show contest,” a spokesman for the X-Factor confirmed this afternoon, “it’s a fitting tribute and we hope we can somehow highlight this awful crime to the masses of people who may have already forgotten about it due to all this great television that is airing lately.
“We understand people at home may not fully comprehend the implications of such a heinous act, or care about the fact that our great nation deals weapons to these people, but hopefully they will get to enjoy the same songs the Saudi assassins listened to while they lopped off his fingers, hands and feet while Mr. Khashoggi screamed for his life”.
Yesterday, Saudi Arabia alleged that Khashoggi, a critic of the crown prince, had died in a “fistfight” inside its Istanbul consulate, however later admitted that his attackers may have had bone saws for hands.
