FUTURE state beneficiary Meghan Markle has said she is really looking forward to her up-and-coming part as a royal family member, stating that loving the ginger-haired prince will be her “toughest role to date”.

On May 19th, the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is due to take place at Windsor Castle in England and will be televised to an audience of hundreds of millions of people.

“The ratings for this will be far greater than Suits,” the 36-year-old actress said, taking care to pronounce her words properly just like the Palace elocutionist taught her, “one might say this is the biggest part of my career, and keeping up this loving Harry charade for the rest of my life will be incredibly hard and demanding, but the pay is good and one cannot complain about one’s situation when one is raking it in”.

In her previous role as Rachel Zane on the legal drama series Suits, Markle was paid considerably less than her male co-star Patrick J. Adams, but now looks forward to a flat-rate, multi-million pound fee paid for by the British public.

“It will be nice to know exactly what’s coming into my bank account every month instead of having to go through contracts every season with cut-throat producers and agents,” she added.

“It’s a big jump in salary and I can’t wait to spend it on demure and dated clothes I have to wear for the British media to fawn over,” she concluded.
