“If That Motherfucker Wants His Go, I’ll Give It To Him” Cusack Hits Back At C4

MET Éireann’s Evelyn Cusack has responded to Channel 4 weather presenter Liam Dutton’s criticism of the naming of Storm Fionn, calling him out and asking him if ‘he wants his go’.

Speaking to WWN earlier, the queen of Irish weather went on a forty seven minute tirade, slamming Dutton’s argument that Fionn was not a storm but a “squeeze in the isobars” before then asking if meteorologist should start naming raindrops next.

“If that motherfucker wants his go, I’ll give it to him,” a very animated Evelyn Cusack began, while cutting the air with a combination of elbows and kicks, “smug fucking asshole, I’ll batter the face of him.

“Just cause he’s so thick that he can’t even pronounce Fionn, that doesn’t give him the right to denounce our storm. It took us ages for us to think of that name. He’s basically shitting on Ireland with this crap”.

In 2014, the Irish and UK weather services announced a joint storm-naming project following a winter that saw a number of unofficially named storms.

“Obviously our storms aren’t good enough for mister know-it-all hurricane lover over there,” added Cusack, now practicing headbutts, “thinks he’s great with his sharp, flawless green-screen edges, and his fine tailored suit… fucker probably doesn’t even know what an isobar is”.

“I’d like to see him doing a weather report during a storm in Galway with gale force winds while trying to keep his hood on his head – the fucking gobshite,” Evelyn concluded.

In Ireland, the criteria for a storm being named are:

  • If it wants to go to a Catholic school
  • If the storm damage can get us a few million euro from the EU
  • If its a slow news day and we want to start a fight with the UK meteorological service over silly, throwaway comments
