OLD MacDonald’s farm has gone under foreclosure today after failing to make a series of mortgage repayments on the 400 acre site in the state of Missouri, after a court ordered local sheriffs to immediately seize the property, leaving the owner homeless and out on the street.

The 78-year-old farmer said goodbye to his remaining livestock before handing over the keys of his 100-year-old family home to receivers, before then taking some time to address the awaiting world media who were gathered outside.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen with all these animals,” old MacDonald began, visibly upset at the thoughts, “I suppose everyone can safely say now that old MacDonald ‘had’ a farm”.

And on that farm he reportedly had some sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, the majority of whom will now have to be destroyed under section 47 of the livestock act of 1986, which stipulates that foreclosed farm animals would have to be humanely euthanized if they had nowhere else to go.

“With a woof woof here, a moo moo there, here a quack, there a quack, everywhere a baa baa, I’m fucking devastated,” added old MacDonald, before oddly yelling the letters, “E-I-E-I-O”.

It is understood the ‘fully functioning’ farm will now be taken back by the banks and later sold on at auction for a fraction of the money old MacDonald had originally owed them.
