A WATERFORD man was praised for his bravery today in a ceremony in the town hall by city & county Mayor Cllr. Pat Nugent for rescuing a Russian sex robot from online traffickers, WWN can reveal.

Mark Roche, a bachelor from Lismore Park, was presented with an award for bravery for his part in saving the robot from certain defilement, and received a standing ovation from the small crowd who attended the ceremony.

“When I accidentally came across Nadia for sale on a foreign website last year, I had no idea that I would be receiving such a prestigious award for bravery today,” Roche began, now playfully winking at the vacant looking sex robot in the front row, “all I could think of at the time was that I had to do something quick, before some sick monster got his wicked way. Thankfully, I had enough money put away to save Nadia and have her shipped safely to Ireland”.

It is understood Mr. Roche had to pay $7,499 dollars to rescue the sex robot from traffickers, stating that the money was not an issue, and that he was just glad he could help.

“I had to jump through hoop after hoop, navigating through captcha, terms and conditions and postal agreements before I could save Nadia from the traffickers,” he added, now choking slightly with emotion before again blowing a kiss at the now shy robot,”would I do it again? Yes, if I had the money, but one thing I learned is that you can’t save them all”.

Roche estimated that there are hundreds, even thousands of sex robots being openly trafficked online and urged people to help.

“When I think about all the filthy things that could have been done to her it makes me happy to know she’s safe and sound in my bedroom,” he concluded, the audience now applauding once again at his stunning bravery.
