Danny Glover Officially Too Old For Most Shit

FAMED ‘Lethal Weapon’ star Danny Glover has finally lived up to his famous catchphrase from the celebrated buddy-cop series, having passed into an age where he is genuinely too old for most, if not all, shit.

“I’m too old for this shit,” exclaimed Glover in his career-defining role as Detective Roger Murtagh, whose 50th birthday celebrations kicked off the 1987 action franchise, although Glover himself was only 41 at the time.

30 years and three more Lethal Weapons down the line, the now 70-year-old Glover can at last claim to be ‘too old for this shit’, if by ‘this shit’ he means any physically demanding activity such as running, jumping, chasing bad guys, chasing an ice-cream van, or anything that doesn’t involve sitting down and moving slowly.

“Damn, I’m old as fuck,” sighed Glover, who still acts in movies and TV shows to this day.

“Back in 1987 when I said I was ‘too old for this shit’, I didn’t know what the fuck I was talking about. I was more than capable of most shit; not like now. I left the window open last night and now I can barely move my goddamned arm. I’m too old to even battle a fucking breeze”.

On the other hand, Glover’s co-star Mel Gibson, who portrayed the unhinged Sgt. Martin Riggs, has to date shown no signs of the scary manic craziness of his character.
