Steven Avery Fondly Remembers Time When People Gave A Shit About Steven Avery

SITTING in his cell in Waupun Correctional Facility, Steven Avery regaled himself with tales of the brief moment in time when it appeared people actually gave a shit about his plight.

Avery’s imprisonment for murder, known more commonly to the public as binge watching, placed the Wisconsin native at the forefront of the minds of millions of people for a rewarding but fleeting few weeks in 2015.

The prisoner’s nostalgic thoughts also took in the warm response to his nephew Brendan Dassey, who he was sure people hadn’t just relegated to the vast recesses of their minds.

Once comforted by the notion that a high volume of people were incensed by the inadequacies and shortcomings of the American justice system, Avery now has to content himself with the memories that remain.

“Yeah, that was kinda a wild time. It was like, what, a whole month? Crazy when you think about it,” Avery said to himself as he contemplated life in prison, and the ever decreasing interest in his plight.

“Well, I can’t blame them, I hear Orange is the New Black is back,” he concluded.
