THIS years winner of Britain’s got Talent, Pudsey, has revealed how his chronic testicle licking addiction nearly ruined his showbiz career and has vowed to help other dogs by setting up his own testicle licking rehab clinic in London.
Speaking on Daybreak this morning the six-year-old cross breed told presenters that he first began licking his balls at the tender age of one and said it wasn’t long after he soon became obsessed with his general scrotum area.
Owner Ashleigh confirmed the story saying her pampered pooch would spend hours sitting in his doggy basket and licking.
“He would be there for hours just caressing them with his tongue.” she said tearfully.
“That sound! I will never forget that scraping sound.”
“It got to the stage where we were going to put him down.”
In 2007 Pudsey was admitted to an animal behaviour Veterinary clinic for two months.
However, upon leaving the programme he relapsed and had to be readmitted for another eight weeks.
“It was probably the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life.” said the dog.
“Ashleigh was so supportive the whole way through my addiction.”
In 2009 Pudsey began performing for friends and family members at parties and social occasions.
“It all took off from there. I just knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.” he added.
Ashleigh and Pudsey picked up the prize of £50,000 on Britains got Talent last Saturday and look set to go on to enjoy a glittering career in showbiz, with rumours that the pair are set to be snapped up to star in really brilliant Hollywood movies about dancing dogs and teenagers.
